The Wood Lid Glass Infuser Mug pairs a borosilicate glass body with a bamboo lid that holds in heat and aroma while the tea steeps. The clear glass lets you watch the colour build. Pour hot water over the leaves in the filter, lift the filter out when it's ready, and the lid becomes a rest for it.

Material

Caring tips

  • The glass mug is dishwasher safe.
  • The bamboo lid is not. Keep it out of the dishwasher and don't leave it soaking, or the wood will warp and split. Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry fully.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes, since rapid swings are the most common cause of glass cracking.
Common questions
Can I use this with any Magic T tea?

Yes. It works with any of our loose leaf blends or pure herbs. Add a heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 5 to 7 minutes, or follow the brewing tips on the tea's own page.

What if it arrives broken, or breaks while I'm using it?

If it arrives broken, we replace it. If it breaks while you're using it within the first 30 days, we replace that too. Email info@magict.co.nz with a photo and we'll sort it out. Glass is glass, and we'd rather stand behind it than argue about it.

What if I break the infuser or the lid?

It happens, and it usually doesn't mean replacing the whole thing. Email us at info@magict.co.nz with a photo and tell us which piece broke. We keep spare infusers and lids for most of our glassware and will let you know what we can do.
